On 27 May, the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia will host a public event dedicated to strengthening research cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic countries.
NordForsk – an institution under the Nordic Council of Ministers that funds and promotes cooperation in research – will present its activities and provide information on opportunities for Latvian researchers to engage in joint projects. The event will also feature success stories from Latvian researchers, including projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and sustainable forestry.
The programme will include a panel discussion on how Nordic-Baltic cooperation can contribute to strengthening the quality, visibility and societal impact of research, and presentations on future priority areas of cooperation. At the end of the event, there will be a networking session for building new contacts.
